Three Tracks, Each Built for a Different Schedule
Every track covers a defined scope, runs for a fixed duration, and ends with a written record of what was covered. Prices and contents are stated before enrolment.
Back to HomeThe Methodology Behind Every Track
Each track at Gradient Yard is structured as a sequence of terraces — a term borrowed from how hillside land is worked. A terrace represents a topic or skill level that must be consolidated before the next one is opened. Participants move through the curriculum in order and do not skip sections because the schedule feels tight.
Before each intake, the instructor team reviews the previous cohort's exercise results and session recordings to identify where the pacing was wrong or where a concept required more time than the curriculum allowed. Adjustments are made before the next cohort begins. This is how the curriculum improves over time.
All tracks deliver a written completion record at the end. The record lists the topics covered, the exercises submitted, and — for the Weekday Intensive — the portfolio project. It does not make claims about skill levels reached or employment suitability. It states what was done.
For team programmes, the process includes a curriculum design workshop before the programme starts. The employer reviews and approves the curriculum before the first session. Post-programme, two follow-up clinics allow the team to bring questions that arose after applying what they learned.

Team Upskilling Programme
Delivered to an in-house engineering team over sixteen weeks with two sessions weekly. Suited to organisations moving existing engineers into model work.
- Curriculum design workshop
- Tailored exercises on team's stack
- Weekly architecture clinics
- Recorded material for employer

What Every Track Shares
Data Privacy
Personal data collected during enrolment is used only for administering your place. Not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Written Feedback
Every exercise receives a written response from the instructor. Not a template — specific to your submission.
Curriculum Review Cycle
After each cohort, the instructor team reviews what worked and what did not. Adjustments are made before the next intake opens.
Enrolment Agreement Before Payment
Scope, price, withdrawal terms, and what is included are stated in a written agreement before any payment is made.
Accurate Completion Records
Records state what was covered. If a section was not completed, the record reflects that rather than implying full coverage.
Clear Scope Boundaries
Each track page states what is not included — employment connections, accredited credentials, placement services. No ambiguity about what a track provides.
